interview01

Please tell us about the work you are currently doing.

When many people hear about the Information Systems Department, they may not have a clear idea of what it actually does. In today's logistics, systems are essential for optimizing and increasing the efficiency of logistics operations. Our job is to design, develop, and maintain such systems. Moreover, the stage is wide-ranging from inside the company to outside the company and overseas. We also manage equipment such as computers and printers, and provide system proposals to customers. When you think of the system department, you may imagine a desk job, but we often go to customer sites or on-site to propose systems and explain operations to users during installation. Above all, our system department is unique in that we handle everything from system design to development, implementation, and maintenance, and it gives me a great sense of accomplishment when I see something that I created from scratch being released and actually being used. I feel it.

interview 02

What kind of school days did you have?

After hearing Rakugo for the first time while I was in university, I fell in love with Rakugo and joined the Rakugo Research Group. Thankfully, I have had the opportunity to perform at local events and nursing homes, even though it was a shame. However, I was never good at speaking in front of people, and I was always wondering how I could improve. At that time, a senior member of the same Rakugo study group told me, ``The only way to improve is to perform in front of people and make a lot of mistakes.'' These words are still important to me even now that I have become a member of society. When you fail, you have the opportunity to reflect on yourself, why you failed, and how you can improve so that you don't repeat the same mistake again, and you get a chance to grow even more than before. Through rakugo, I learned the importance of taking on challenges without fear of failure, and that reflecting on failure leads to experience and growth. In the end, I didn't really improve my rakugo skills, but I think that thanks to rakugo, I gained the courage to speak in front of people.

interview 03

What made you decide to join the company?

I had studied international studies at university, and in the future I wanted to work in a job that had something to do with overseas. As I progressed in my job search, I became interested in the logistics industry, which can be said to be the foundation of our lives anywhere in the world. Among them, I chose Nissin because it had many overseas bases, but at the briefing session and interview, I felt the warm "personality" of the senior employees. The comfort I felt during the selection process was the biggest deciding factor. Even now that I've joined the company, that impression hasn't changed, and I feel every day that I'm glad I joined this company.

interview 04

What is the atmosphere like at your company or department?

The people around me are friendly, so I think it's a workplace where you can communicate naturally. It's an environment where it's easy to talk to your superiors or seniors if you have a problem, and they give you detailed guidance when it comes to things you don't understand, and I feel that they value each and every employee. It's a very warm workplace.

interview 05

How do you think you have grown compared to when you first joined the company?

Not only did I acquire programming knowledge related to system development, which I had zero knowledge of before joining the company, but I also became conscious of always thinking from the other person's perspective. When I first joined the company and was assigned to develop systems, I didn't know what was right and what was left, and I was just trying my best to do what was in front of me. However, as I carried out my work, I realized that there was no point in creating a system unless it was easy to use for the users, rather than just developing it. I think I was able to grow a little by discovering the importance of ``thinking from the user's perspective,'' rather than just working ``for the user.''

interview 06

Please tell us about your future goals and dreams.

Although I have opportunities to increase my knowledge of logistics and systems through my daily work, I still feel that it is still lacking. I would like to study on my own in order to increase my knowledge, accumulate various experiences, and work hard to combine my knowledge and experience so that I can make proposals that will satisfy users even more. .

Please give a message to job hunters!

Job hunting is a great opportunity to interact with people from a variety of industries and occupations, and expand your horizons. Please take full advantage of this opportunity and try out various companies instead of focusing on one industry. Furthermore, please listen to the stories of many human resources personnel and senior employees. I believe that the experience I gained during this period will definitely be useful in the future. If you are having trouble making a choice, imagine what you would do if you joined this company and choose the one that would make you excited. I hope that your job search ends with a smile on your face. Please do your best!
