Social contributions

We carry out various activities with the aim of contributing to society and the local community through the promotion of sports in our hometown of Yokohama.We co-sponsor YOKOHAMA MARATHON as a Yokohama supporter, provide parking space, and have our employees participate as runners.

We have also entered into an official sponsorship agreement with the Kanagawa Future Dreams (Baseball Challenge League), and through our support of the team, we are supporting the challenges of players and children to achieve their future dreams.

We sponsor and support the activities of the Japan Symphony Foundation, the Yokohama Symphony Orchestra, the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, and others, with the aim of popularizing the musical arts, promoting local culture, and nurturing performers.

We conduct logistics facility tours and training for schools, business groups, associations, etc. both domestically and internationally.

We are also co-sponsoring the publication of "Oshigoto Nenkan" (career education material), which is aimed primarily at elementary and junior high school students, to introduce how international logistics supports people's lives, something that most students rarely have a chance to encounter in their daily lives.

We support VIETNAM FESTIVAL in Kanagawa and support the promotion of exchanges between Kanagawa, where we were founded, and Vietnam, the country where we do business.

As a member of the Yokohama YMCA Support Association, we conducted mock interviews for foreign students to support their job hunting, and provided advice from the perspective of our interviewers with extensive experience. As a result, we were able to find employment for two international students and send them out into the Japanese business world. We will continue our employment support activities as one of our contributions to the local community.

As a member of the Kanagawa Prefecture Police Friends Association since its establishment in 1972, we have been involved in local crime prevention activities for a long time, and have been awarded the Crime Prevention Achievement Award by the local police. We will continue to actively participate in crime prevention campaigns promoted by the police and government agencies, such as traffic safety campaigns and the prevention of bank transfer fraud, and hope to contribute to the safety and security of the community.

NISSIN ABC LOGISTICS LIMITED, a member of Nissin Group, has a fund for cleaning the Ganges River (Clean Ganga Fund) and organizations supporting social welfare facilities (Nightingale Medical Trust, Charities AID Foundation, etc.). We are making a donation.

LAO NISSIN, a member of Nissin Group, held an endowed course on logistics at the request of Laos National University of Savannakhet. In addition, we actively support academic fields by providing truck operation data to contribute to CO ₂ emissions research in the East-West Economic Corridor being conducted at Thammasat University in neighboring Thailand.
