The Osaka Aviation Department Sales Section 2, where I work, imports and exports equipment, apparel, automobile parts, and various materials by sea and air. First of all, we start with inquiries about the project, but depending on how and where it will be transported, we may need packaging to prevent damage to the cargo, cargo that requires temperature control due to its characteristics, or manual labor or forklifts. There are some things that cannot be done. This job involves confirming work with local staff and a lot of legal matters, and requires total coordination for customers from a variety of perspectives.

When my proposal went through and the work was completed successfully, I received an emotional phone call from the client thanking me. The customer consulted multiple logistics companies about similar projects, but received rejections due to the difficulty of the work or the cost. It seems like it is. Prior to receiving the order, we received advice from professionals from all relevant departments, including the work site, the packaging company, and staff at overseas subsidiaries, and we held many discussions and made proposals, which led to a good result.

The most important thing is to always look at the customer's perspective. When I receive various inquiries, I try to think about what the other person is looking for. There are many times when I am asked to do something very advanced, but the sense of accomplishment I get when I accomplish something is irresistible. I am also always conscious of not getting my priorities right. With new information coming in every day, if you get your priorities wrong, you may lose the trust and trust of your partner, and even the relationships you have built. I check whether the matter is important or urgent, and I try to meet the deadline with the other party.

When I work in international logistics, I am surprised at the number of raw materials and companies involved in the things I see on the street. For example, even in everyday clothes, dozens of companies are involved in making a single piece of clothing, not just the fabric, but also the buttons, zippers, threads, etc. You can even find out what country and what factory the clothes are made in, so if you can be involved in the logistics of a brand you like or something you know, it somehow becomes more fun.

In short, it's a workplace with a homely atmosphere. There are many people who are kind enough to talk to you about your work matters, but also about your personal life, and who care about you. The people around me give me accurate advice, and I work in a corporate group that provides opportunities for me to move forward in order to grow.

It may be a cliché, but it's about becoming a top-notch logistics person. When we talk about logistics, goods flow through various means such as truck delivery, ships, and airplanes. In the past, I have gained a variety of experience in the field of handling sea freight, and currently belong to the sales department that handles not only sea freight but also Air cargo. There is a wide variety of work methods, from cargo that can be carried by hand to cargo that cannot be handled without the use of large cargo handling equipment, and lately I have been particularly impressed with the depth of logistics. No matter what kind of project comes my way, I work hard every day to become a person who can put myself in the customer's shoes and make suitable proposals without giving up.

I don't think there are many people who have a clear vision for their life during their student days. Job hunting is a good opportunity to face yourself. I believe that you are seriously thinking about what you want to do and what kind of person you want to be. It was a long time ago, but I remember when I was job hunting, I asked my parents and senior colleagues why they were doing the job they were doing.
