The Food Logistics Sales Department that I currently belong to mainly handles the marine import and export of food products, and I am responsible for the series of operations that involve the delivery of food ingredients transported by ship or plane from overseas to customer factories. I am in charge. Specifically, we create a schedule for transporting containers from the port to the warehouse, loading the container into the warehouse, preparing Customs clearance documents, and arranging transportation to the customer's factory. We are making requests to interested parties via email and phone.

It was a time when we were able to safely and successfully deliver the goods to the customer's factory for an urgent import matter. In the case of ocean imports, the ship cannot be rushed and it is dependent on the weather. In addition, customs Customs clearance will be inspected by customs officials, so you will not know how long the inspection will take until the day of the inspection. We will do our best within this limited process. This requires careful schedule coordination with transportation, warehousing, and Customs clearance clearance personnel, as well as the cooperation of many people. If even one thing is missing, logistics will stop, so I feel a great sense of accomplishment when I am able to deliver the product on time and receive words of gratitude from the customer.

In the sales department, we do not actually transport the products, take them into the warehouse, or clear Customs clearance; we rely on the help of many people to provide our services. If even one request is left out or there is an error in the requested information, logistics will come to a halt. Of course we make arrangements to avoid mistakes, but we also communicate with each person in charge, avoid expressions that are likely to cause misunderstandings, and make sure to use accurate phrasing. In addition, since logistics is not a job that sells tangible goods, we not only handle the immediate work requested by the client, but also handle specialized logistics services such as Customs clearance conditions that change from year to year, the effects of weather, and expected congestion during long holidays. We strive to provide services that are wide-ranging and provide useful information to our customers, from information about the world to information about the world.

I'm very happy to be involved in the products I see every day, and I think that's the appeal of working in logistics. Until I started working in logistics, I had never thought about the process that goes through until products are displayed in stores, but through my work I learned that Japan imports goods from countries all over the world, and that there are many industries in Japan. When I first joined the company, I sometimes felt depressed due to the unfamiliarity of working life and failures at work. We are an international comprehensive logistics company that provides a variety of logistics services such as sea and air imports and exports, and we handle a wide variety of products such as food, automobiles, clothing, plants, etc. Since I joined the company, I have been handling food products, so I would like to grow by working with other products and learning a wide range of logistics knowledge. This was also a deciding factor for me to join the company, and there are many female seniors who have returned to work after taking maternity or childcare leave, so I hope to be able to balance family and work in the future myself.
