Notice of online seminar March 19th (Wednesday) What to do? CO2 report on international shipping and our future outlook
March 14, 2025

Recently, there has been a growing demand both in Japan and overseas for greater disclosure of information in the field of sustainability. In Japan, some companies listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime Market are expected to be required to report on CO2 emissions throughout Supply Chain, in the fiscal year ending March 2027. As a result, we have received an increasing number of inquiries from customers regarding the calculation of CO2 emissions during transportation.
CO2 emissions generated during transportation are classified as "Scope 3," which refers to emissions from sources other than a company that occur in Supply Chain, and are said to be an area that is difficult to grasp using only the data held by customers.
At this seminar, we will explain from what aspects we can provide you with the information you need to calculate your company's CO2 emissions, while also sharing ideas for reducing CO2 emissions and future prospects for making reporting more efficient.
We hope this will be helpful in your company's CO2 emissions reporting work.
