Nikkei Sustainability Survey: Receives Double Three-Star Certification in "SDG Management" and "Smart Work Management"

Nissin Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") has been awarded a three-star rating in the overall evaluation of the "SDGs Management Edition" of the "Nikkei Sustainable Comprehensive Survey" conducted by the Nihon Keizai Shimbun, Inc. This marks the achievement of a double three-star certification, in addition to the three-star certification previously announced for the "Smart Work Management Edition."

The Nikkei Sustainable Comprehensive Survey on SDG Management covers listed and leading unlisted companies nationwide, and evaluates them from various angles on their management strategies aimed at achieving the SDGs, their contributions to society through their business activities, and their environmental initiatives. This three-star certification recognizes the overall sustainability activities that our company has been continuously working on.

This year's evaluation was particularly strong in the "Business Contribution" category, and the high-value-added logistics services we promote, such as "Forward One," a web application that unifies a wide range of international logistics operations, and "LiBerth," a safe transportation solution for lithium-ion batteries, were recognized as initiatives that significantly contribute to solving social issues.

Our company was also awarded three stars in the Nikkei Sustainable Comprehensive Survey: Smart Work Management, which selects leading companies that aim to maximize their corporate value by making the most of their human resources and accelerating investment in human resources to create new innovations, improve productivity, and maximize corporate value.

The survey results showed that the company achieved a particularly high standard in the area of "technology utilization ability," earning an A++ rating, one of the highest possible ratings. In an industry where traditional methods of operation are still deeply rooted, the company was highly praised for its early efforts to introduce and utilize cutting-edge technology.

With these two three-star certifications, the Company will continue to promote ESG management, one of the key measures in Medium-Term Business Plan, in all aspects of its business, aiming for sustainable growth.
