We introduced our lithium-ion battery recycling logistics solution, "LiBerth," at the "Circular Value Chain Consortium's 43rd Seminar."
October 26, 2026
Our company spoke at the "Circular Value Chain Consortium 43rd Seminar - Tama New Town Environmental Association Tama Incineration Plant Tour -" held on Monday, October 5, 2026.
The Circular Value Chain Consortium (CVC) was established in July 2022 as a platform for information exchange, discussion, and research and development, aiming to reduce resource consumption and environmental impact in the production and consumption sectors, and to realize resource recycling through collaboration between industry, government, and academia, in order to achieve a sustainable society.
Our company is participating as a partner company in the "Establishment of a Safe and Secure Processing Flow for Small Lithium-ion Batteries" project, one of the main projects within the consortium, which led to our participation in this presentation.
The seminar, titled "Addressing the Challenges of Storing and Transporting the Increasingly Large Number of Lithium-ion Batteries: An Introduction to the LiBerth Project and LiB Boxes," introduced the "LiBerth" circular logistics solution, which pursues safety, security, and efficiency in the transportation and storage of lithium-ion batteries. The presentation also included a report on the results of a demonstration experiment conducted this summer, aimed at establishing safe transportation methods and recycling flows, as well as the challenges and future prospects revealed.
In addition to the lecture, a tour of the Tama Incineration Plant, operated by the Tama New Town Environmental Association, was also conducted on the day. Participants actively asked questions and offered opinions on the reality of lithium-ion battery contamination at incineration plants and the countermeasures being taken on site, demonstrating the high level of interest in this issue.
Moving forward, we will continue to utilize the knowledge gained from this demonstration experiment and our own solutions, while further deepening partnerships with industry, government, and academia, including the Circular Value Chain Consortium, to contribute to the realization of a safe, secure, and sustainable circular society for lithium-ion batteries.
