In July, Panasonic Corporation began a rental service for the vacuum insulated cold storage box "VIXELL" for international transportation of pharmaceuticals, investigational drugs, etc.

Temperature-controlled transportation has attracted attention in recent years, including the establishment of 　GDP guidelines and the transportation of COVID-19 vaccines. However, until now, overseas transportation has generally used disposable cold boxes, which has caused problems such as damage to the cold boxes during transportation and damage to medicines due to temperature deviations, and environmental burden due to the disposal of cold boxes.
