AEO Accreditation Status

AEO Programmes

Standards under the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) program are provided by the World Customs Organization (WCO) for the purposes of ensuring security and implementing efficient,effective physical distribution in international logistics. The AEO program is being adopted in many countries around the world. With certification, we are striving to make our compliance system even stronger and to provide high-quality logistics services in the areas of customs brokerage and other import-export activities.

On September 7, 2011, Nissin was certified by customs authorities in Yokohama as an authorized customs broker with a well-developed system of security and compliance management.

On December 20, 2013, Nissin was approved by customs authorities in Yokohama as an authorized Warehouse Operator with a well-developed system of security and compliance management.

ISO Certifications and the Nissin Group

Nissin Corporation and Nissin Group are establishing certifications for international quality standards, specifically the ISO 9001 standard for quality management and the ISO 14001 standard for environmental management. Achievement of these goals will help differentiate us from competitors, continually improve service quality for our customers and increase earnings.
Listed in the table below are the acquired and pending ISO certifications of Nissin Group. To oversee and guide our commitment to quality, Nissin has selected LRQA Limited, one of the most prestigious certification organizations in the world, for all areas except China.
In addition to the ISO standards, Nissin has also implemented the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point system, the internationally recognized standard for comprehensive control of food safety and sanitation, at our Kobe Maya Refrigerated Warehouse and Kobe Port International Distributions Center to ensure the highest level of quality in the services we provide to our customers.

GDP(Good Distribution Practice)

GDP(Good Distribution Practice)

NISSIN BELGIUM NV, our subsidiary company in Belgium, got certified with GDP (Good Distribution Practice), quality standards for pharmaceutical logistics, on 8th February, 2021.

GDP requires certain quality standards in all the supply chain processes after production of pharmaceuticals up to delivery to users for the purpose to maintain appropriate quality level in the process of storage and transportation services.

Status of Green Management Certification

Status of Green Management Certification

Nissin is working toward the acquisition of Green Management Certification, which aims for business management with low impact on the environment.

This certification is a system that aims to improve motivation for tacking action, and to connect this to reduced environmental impacts in Japan's transport-related industries, through subjective demonstration and disclosure of businesses' efforts at environmental improvement based on the Green Management Promotion Manual. The effects of certification are similar to those of ISO14001, and are in conformance with the goals of the Law Regarding the Rationalization of Energy Use.

In September 2008, Nissin's Honmoku Sales Office, Keihin Branch, first acquired this certification. Since then, certifications have been registered as follows. Nissin will work to provide high-quality services with low environmental impact at the level of individual workplaces as well as in affiliated companies.
